Overview
Web Squared is a visualization of your email contacts. There are 4 rings. The first ring shows people that you have sole two way communication with. This means that you have emailed just them, and they have emailed just you. The second ring is people that you have group two way communication with. This includes anyone who you contact, and who contacts you, but either you have never emailed just them, or they have never emailed just you. This often includes mailing lists or group members who always include the entire group. The third ring is one way communication. Either you have emailed them and they haven't emailed you, or vice versa. The fourth ring is people you have never had direct communication with. Someone has emailed you and them. In my email, as a student, this is often people in my classes that my teacher has emailed with me, but I have not contacted.
When you click on a contact they turn orange. You can drag the selected person around in order to get better views. Lines lead from this person to every person they have been included in an email with. These lines allow you to see patterns that you may or may not have realized existed.
